Pouyuen cuts working hours for 20,000 employees

Due to orders that will influence the manufacturing schedule, 20,000 employees of the Pouyuen Vietnam will take a rotating break from December 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023.

The biggest employer in Ho Chi Minh City has announced that about 20,000 workers in the C, D, Y, and Chemistry workshops of the PCaG sector will take a rotating break from December 1, 2022, to December 28. 2-2023 due to orders affecting the production schedule

Employees will receive a salary of VND180,000 per day throughout the break. The company leader wished for cooperation among the workers to get through this challenging time.

More than 50,000 people are currently employed by the Vietnamese company PouYuen Co., Ltd. (the enterprise with the largest number of employees in Ho Chi Minh City at present).

According to The Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs, 27 firms in the city have had to cut off 2,858 workers since the start of the year due to technological restructuring, equipment rearrangement, and economic benefits.
