Phu Nhuan Jewelry to pay 2021 first dividend at VND600 per share

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (HoSE: PNJ) plans to spend VND136 billion to pay the first tranche of 2021 dividend, according to the company statement.

The final registration date is March 8 and the payment date is April 7. Shareholders will receive VND600 for each holding share. With more than 227 million outstanding shares, the firm will spend about VND136 billion.

During the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in 2021, shareholders approved 2021 dividend at 20 percent.

In the past year, the company reported VND19,593 billion in revenue, up 12 percent from a year earlier. Gross profit margin was 18.2 percent, lower than 19.6% in 2020. After-tax profit was VND1,037 billion, down by nearly 4 percent.

Retail sales maintained an upward trend of 10.5 percent. Gold bar revenue grew by 25 percent in the past year. However, the total retail sales of consumer goods and services is estimated to decrease by 3.8 percent. Wholesale revenue decreased by 5.5 percent compared to 2020.
