Vietnam’s coronavirus cases hit nine as two cured, one tested negative

The ninth nCoV patient, 30 years old, who lives in Northern province Vinh Phuc, is among eight workers returning from Wuhan city of China on January 17. This is the 5th person in this group found infected with the disease.
The group travelled on flight CZ8315 of Southern China Airlines to Noi Bai International Airport. They were picked up by the agency car, joined a group meeting, and then went home.
Three workers in the group found with the new coronavirus on January 30. Later, two more people in the group showed fever and tested positive with the virus. The new patient is receiving treatment at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases. Health condition of the five infected workers is good.
So far, Vietnam confirmed 9 infected cases. Of the 9 patients with Wuhan pneumonia, one is in Ho Chi Minh City, four in Vinh Phuc, one in Khanh Hoa, two Chinese nationals treated at Cho Ray Hospital, one in Thanh Hoa province. Two were cured and discharged from hospitals and one has been tested with negative result.
As of Tuesday morning, there were more than 20,604 confirmed cases in more than two dozen countries, the vast majority of them in China. There have been at least 425 deaths in China, and one in the Philippines, one in Hong Kong.
