Vietnam's garment exports to Indonesia increase fourfold

The third quarter of 2022 saw an increase in garment imports from Vietnam, with the import turnover reaching $17.669 million, up from $15,972 million in the first quarter.

According to the FoxPro Intelligent Market Analysis Tool, garment imports from Vietnam totaled $5,257 million in July, $3,801 million in June, $1,232 million in May, and $2,719 million in April.

Garment imports from Vietnam increased in the third quarter of 2022, reaching $17.669 million, up from $7,753 million in the second quarter and $15,972 million in the first.

This amount was $13,308 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, $51 million in the third quarter of 2021, and $12 million in the second quarter of 2021 last year.

In 2021, Indonesia's garment imports from Vietnam would be $53,543 million, up from $41.611 million in 2020.

The import turnover of textiles and clothing from Vietnam to Indonesia was $41.394 million between January and September 2022.

In the opposite direction, Indonesia's garment exports to Vietnam were $12,873 million from January to September 2022, and $14.455 million for the entire year of 2021.
