Youngest Female Tech CEO Runs for Board Member of EuroCham 2022

The female entrepreneur, one of the youngest female CEOs in tech, who has a unique perspective on the tech startup industry in Vietnam, will energize EuroCham by bringing in new members from the tech industry as well as young entrepreneurs from other sectors. 

Being ethnically Vietnamese, but growing up as an adoptee in Sweden, she will bridge both European and Vietnamese cultures, and she proudly holds dual citizenship. Through her position as CEO of Fika, she has brought attention and capital to tech-related business investment in Vietnam.

If elected as a board member of EuroCham, Denise will work hard to bring in new members and expand its reach into the tech sector and beyond.

Born in 1991 in Vietnam, Denise was adopted by a Swedish couple when she was 3 weeks old. Twenty-five years later, armed with a few names, an old birth certificate and a Facebook page, she managed to find the needle in the haystack and met her biological mother for the first time.

This emotional reunion inspired Denise to help people build meaningful connections and the idea of a social app for Asian users started brewing. With the analytical mind of a Business and Finance major, she saw Vietnam as a land full of potential and returned to her birthplace in 2018, where she held a C-suite position as National Sales Manager for a big international Swedish company. 

Before graduating from Stockholm School of Economics, she trained with the Swedish Armed Forces Interpreter Academy and completed her post at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow. Denise’s stints in different countries (UK, Russia, China, Thailand and Tunisia) and ability to speak six languages fluently make her a truly global citizen.
