Huawei offers to back Vietnam’s digital transformation: VnEconomy

James Wu, vice chairman of Huawei expressed the desire to cooperate with Vietnam in the field during a meeting with Vice Chairwoman of Committee for the Management of State Capital at Enterprises Nguyen Thi Phu Ha.
The Vietnamese official said the digital transformation process was a big task, requiring long-term plans. She hopes that this process will have cooperation from partners like Huawei.
Huawei with about 190,000 employees operates in 170 countries around the world. Its biggest strength is its communication network, said James during the meeting.
Several major carriers in the world have chosen Huawei as a provider of 5G telecommunications technology, he edded.
Earlier, Huawei had two meetings with the committee in January and July 2019. At these meetings, Huawei's leaders proposed to support the committee in the digital transformation process.

The military-run telecom will rely mainly on hardware supplied by Finland's Nokia and Sweden's Ericsson, according to local media reports.
