Woman contracts disease from a Buddha Bar's coronavirus-hit staffer, tally raises to 153

Among the 5 new patients, two are foreign nationals who entered Vietnam on March 21 and were put under quarantine at arrivals. The remaining 3 patients were transmitted the disease from other patients.
A Vietnamese woman, aged 27, whose younger brother working at coronavirus-hit Buddha Bar had been tested with the virus, became one of latest patients of the disease.
She was said to have contracted the virus from the patient 127 since they share a room in Tay Thanh ward, Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh City. The woman works at Formica Company in building 414 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 5, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City, statement said.
The 152th patient who had close contact with 4 colleagues went to some places and met several people in in Tan Binh District, Sen Vegetarian Restaurant in District 1, as well as delivery man.
Upon hearing about the situation of her younger brother, she made home quarantine and was approached and monitored by local health officials. The company where she works was temporarily suspended.
Remarkably, a Vietnamese businessman, aged 55, who lives in Tan Dinh ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, was tested positive with the virus after returning from US, transiting
Taiwan (China) on EVA Air flight BR395 on March 13.
Between March 14 and 18, the 150th patient visited several places and met with several people, attending party at home.
On March 16, he chaired a meeting with 24 people at Transimex Company, one of biggest company in Vietnam and attended a party at Tri Ky Park on the same day.
On March 18, he met friends in Nha Be district. He visited Family Medical at 34 Le Duan for health check and was transferred to the City Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Patient 149 is a 40-year old man residing in Long Bien District, Ha Noi.
On March 23, he landed in Van Don airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on Viet Nam Airlines flight VN36 from Germany.
He showed no signs of disease symptoms upon his arrival and was taken to a quarantine facility in the province.
Patient 151 is a Brazilian woman, aged 45, living in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City.
She works for Gia Dinh Shoes Company which has two branches in Dong Nai Province and District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.
She is workmate and was in close contact with a previously announced patient (No. 124).
Patient 153 is a 60-year old woman residing in Hai Chau District of the northern city of Hai Phong.
She flew to Australia to visit her relatives and returned Ho Chi Minh City on March 21 on Viet Nam Airlines flight VN772.
Upon her arrival, she was taken to a centralized quarantine facility in Ho Chi Minh City.
Of the infection cases confirmed in Viet Nam so far, 137 have been reported since March 6.
