Vietnam's (PPP) GDP predicted to surpass $2 trillion by 2030, ranking 9th in the world

The latest economic forecast by Australia's Lowy Institute predicts that Vietnam's (PPP) Gross Domestic Product will surpass $2 trillion by 2030, ranking 9th in the world.

The report estimates Vietnam's GDP (PPP) to reach approximately $2.045 trillion, making it one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

According to the report, China is expected to have the largest GDP (PPP) in the world, with a predicted GDP (PPP) of around $43.879 trillion by 2030, followed by the United States with a predicted GDP (PPP) of around $28.708 trillion.

India ranks third with an estimated GDP (PPP) of around $17.948 trillion by 2030, while Japan is fourth with a predicted GDP (PPP) of around $6.337 trillion. Indonesia is ranked fifth with a predicted GDP (PPP) of around $5.951 trillion by 2030.

The report also predicts that among the ASEAN countries, only Indonesia and Vietnam are expected to be in the top 10 countries with the largest GDP (PPP) in the world by 2030. The remaining top 10 countries with the largest GDP (PPP) in the world by 2030, according to Lowy Institute, are Russia, South Korea, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Vietnam's GDP (PPP) is predicted to surpass $2 trillion by 2027, ranking second in the ASEAN-6 bloc and 22nd in the world. Indonesia is predicted to have the largest GDP (PPP) in the ASEAN bloc, with a predicted GDP (PPP) of around $5.8 trillion in 2027, ranking sixth in the world.

Overall, the report indicates that Vietnam's economy is expected to grow significantly in the coming years, making it an attractive destination for investment and business opportunities.
