Vietnam to test Covid-19 vaccine on human this month

The vaccine, developed by Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, is one of the four vaccines produced by Vietnamese companies, according to the ministry.
In the first stage of the trial, the Nanogen Pharmaceutical Biotechnology planned to test the vaccine on 60 people.
Other three candidate vaccines are being researched and produced by Polyvac and the Institute of Vaccines and Medical Biologicals (IVAC), Vaccine and Biological Production No.1 (VABIOTECH), and Center for Research and Production of Vaccines and Biologicals (POLYVAC).
The country has gone 62 days without a single community transmission case of Covid-19.
As of 6:05 pm on Monday, local health officials have reported 1,202 Covid-19 patients, including 1,069 recoveries and 35 fatalities, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
