The patient traveled to New York on February 22, 2020. She transited at Incheon Airport in South Korea.
A week later, the patient returned Vietnam from Washington, transiting at Quatar airport. She arrived Vietnam through Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
On March 9, 2020, she was admitted to Binh Thuan General Hospital and tested positive for the virus.
In Vietnam, the patient had contact with 14 people.
In addition, she also met members of the Binh Thuan Entrepreneur Association and went to a notary office, Zing News cited information from Binh Thuan province's Department of Health.
The local health authority quarantined a woman who had close contact with the patient.
