Vietnam has 138,100 new enterprises in 2019, record high figure

The new enterprises were said to create more than 1.2 million jobs, an increase of over 13.3%, respectively, against the same period last year.
The total additional capital added to the economy was estimated at $98 billion, raising the total registered and additional capital to the economy to $172.6 billion in 2019.
A total number of 39,400 firms re-operated in the year, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, bringing the total number of newly-established and re-operated firms to 177,500 ones in 2019. Each month, 14,800 enterprises were set up and re-operated.
Meanwhile, 28,700 firms stopped operation in the year, up 5.9% while 43,700 ones are waiting for dissolution, up 41.7% and 16,800 ones completed dissolution procedures, up 3.2%.

Regarding the business trend of enterprises of the manufacturing and processing industry in the fourth quarter of 2019, 46.7% of which assessed that production and business situations in the fourth quarter of the year are better than the previous quarter while 17% reported to face difficulties and 36.3% supposed that the production and business situations are stable.
