Vietnam discharges half of its coronavirus patients from hospital, 27 others leave hospitals

Eleven of them had been treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi. They include a French national and 10 Vietnamese citizen.
At Cu Chi field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, four other patients have been completely recovered from the illness. Of them, there is an American national and a Canadian citizen.
At the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City, one patient have recovered from the disease, Patient 150, tested negative several times.
Meanwhile, four others in the city’s Can Gio Hospital, four other patients have also recovered. Of them, there is a Briton and a Brazilian national.
In central region of the country, two patients who had been sent to Hue Central Hospital have recovered. Both of these patients are British citizens.
In Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, doctors from Sa Dec-Dong Thap Hospital discharged four patients who are Vietnamese citizens, meanwhile doctors in Ben Tre released one patient who is a 17-year-old Vietnamese citizen from hospital.
Ho Chi Minh City records no new patient in 3 days
In three consecutive days, Ho Chi Minh City has no newly confirmed cases, according to the city’s Disease Control Centre.
As of April 7, the city has reported 53 infected cases, including 22 recovered patients.
Nationwide, Vietnam has reported 245 cases and 122 of them have recovered. So far, half of the patients in Vietnam have been discharged from hospital, Ministry of Health said.
