The flights will operate four times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
To celebrate the occasion, the airline is offering special ticket prices starting at VND4,644,000 for a round-trip (including taxes and fees). The sale of these discounted tickets will take place from today until March 26, 2023. Passengers can purchase tickets on the airline's website, mobile app, or through official ticketing offices and agents nationwide.
Vietnam Airlines is currently operating 11 flights per week between Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur. The resumption of flights from Hanoi will further enhance the airline's connectivity between Vietnam and Malaysia. Passengers traveling to Malaysia will not be required to present proof of vaccination or Covid-19 test results.
In 2019, Vietnam Airlines transported over 220,000 passengers between Vietnam and Malaysia. As of today, the airline has restored most of its international destinations, increasing the number of weekly flights on its global network to over 600, equivalent to 70% of its pre-pandemic frequency.
