Thien Viet Securities and Tan Viet Securities are two different firms

For the last few days, social networks and newspapers have been spreading information on the sudden death of the Chairman cum CEO of Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVSI), and TVSI’s temporary suspension of corporate bonds’ ownership transfer.

"We are receiving multiple calls from stakeholders to ask about this situation because of the confusion between Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVSI) and Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVS)," according to a statement cited CEO of Thien Viet Securities Nguyen Thanh Thao. 

"For the purposes of avoiding further confusion, please note that Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company – listed on HOSE with the ticker TVS, and Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVSI), are two different companies," she noted. 

The names of Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company and Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company are detailed above.

All operations of Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVS) are functioning normally, including Brokerage, Investment Banking, and Asset Management services.

TVS does not have any connection whatsoever to the companies or events relating to the corporate bonds issuance/distribution currently being discussed on social networks and in newspapers, according to the statement.
