Prudential Vietnam wins hat-trick at the Insurance Asia Awards 2024

Prudential Vietnam wins three prestigious awards at the Insurance Asia Awards 2024, highlighting its commitment to sustainable development and customer-centric innovation.

Prudential Vietnam Life Assurance Private Limited (Prudential) achieved a significant milestone at the Insurance Asia Awards 2024, held on July 9th at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore. The company was honored with three prestigious awards: "International Life Insurer of the Year," "ESG Initiative of the Year," and "Claims Initiative of the Year." This hat trick of accolades highlights Prudential’s commitment to sustainable development over its 25-year tenure in Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Chief Operations Officer at Prudential Vietnam, expressed her pride in the company's achievements. "These awards are a testament to the dedication of the Prudential workforce. This is a meaningful achievement as we embark on a transformative journey to elevate customer experience. We aim to be our customers’ most trusted partner throughout their life journeys, extending our responsibility beyond insurance claims," she said.

Prudential Vietnam's focus on sustainable development is exemplified by its launch of the sustainable development equity fund "PRUlink – Tương Lai Xanh" in March 2024. This pioneering unit-linked fund, the first of its kind in the Vietnamese life insurance market, allows customers to invest in options supporting sustainable development goals. This initiative earned Prudential the "ESG Initiative of the Year" award.

Digital innovation has also played a crucial role in Prudential’s success. The company’s advanced E-Claim process, which automates many steps in the insurance claim submission and resolution process, has significantly improved customer experience. By the end of 2023, over 82% of customer claims were filed online, with nearly 20% processed within 30 minutes. This efficiency earned Prudential the "Claims Initiative of the Year" award, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in the insurance industry.
