PetroVietnam’s 9-month revenue reaches $18.3bln, down 24.5%

The State oil firm faced great challenges in the period due to the Covid-19 pandemic, gloomy financial market, and low credit growth, said PetroVietnam General Director Le Manh Hung during an online meeting.
In the reported period, PetroVietnam recorded a reserve of 15 million tons of oil and gas. Total production output reached 15.71 million tons of oil, exceeding 4 percent of the 9-month plan. Nitrogen production reached 1.34 million tons, beating the 9-month goal by 9 percent.
Its members reaped impressive achievements, including Vietsovpetro that put the BK21 oil rig into operation and received the first oil on October 2, and PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemicals Corporation and PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertiliser Company Limited exported 320,000 tonnes of fertilizer, the highest level the group has recorded.
