ITL Corporation and Seino Holdings officially formed Seino-ITL Logistics.

ITL Corporation and Seino Holdings (Japan) have officially formed Seino-ITL Logistics, a joint venture that will deliver superior less-than-truckload (LTL) solutions to the Vietnam market.

In recent years, Vietnam’s logistics sector has maintained strong annual growth of 14-16%, driven by rising demand for freight transportation. According to the General Statistics Office (GSO), in the first seven months of this year, freight volume reached 1.67 billion tons, up 13.7% year-on-year, while freight turnover grew 13.6% to 345.4 billion ton-kilometers.

These figures highlight a growing need for diverse and optimized logistics solutions, particularly for road transport. Currently, the Vietnam logistics market is predominantly focused on full-truckload (FTL) shipping.

In contrast, LTL – a cost-efficient model for customers is still in its early stages but increasingly gaining traction among businesses.

Seizing this opportunity, ITL and Seino Holdings, one of the leading logistics corporations in Japan with over 90 years of experience officially launched Seino-ITL Logistics in the Vietnam market, headquartered at 54 Truong Son Street, Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Earlier, on August 1st, Seino became a strategic shareholder of ITL.

Leveraging ITL’s infrastructure, talent, and nationwide network, Seino-ITL Logistics aims to establish a robust logistics network in Vietnam and become a leading LTL provider.

Mr. Sam Sang, General Manager of Seino-ITL Logistics, stated that this strong strategic partnership between ITL and Seino promises to create a pioneer in professional LTL services in the market. “Our mission is to become the leading LTL transportation company in Vietnam. We are committed to delivering efficient, flexible, and sustainable solutions that empower our customers to continuously grow,” shared Mr. Sam Sang.

Seino-ITL Logistics owns a modern fleet of container trucks and specialized double-deck vehicles, serving both Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) transportation services. Customers can conveniently book via phone, email, or the company’s website. With clearly defined transport schedules, fixed timetables, competitive rates, and a real-time track-and-trace system, Seino-ITL Logistics enables customers to monitor shipments and guarantee cargo safety.

The joint venture also inherits ITL’s established strengths as the Vietnam Value National Brand, providing integrated logistics solutions with more than 3,000 professional staff and a network of 40 branches in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar. ITL currently manages over 500,000 m² of warehousing and operates a fleet of more than 700 prime movers & trucks, and 1,200 container trailers nationwide.

Mr. Sam Sang added that Seino-ITL Logistics will focus on strengthening road transportation connecting Vietnam’s three key economic regions – North, Central, and South – to deliver optimal distribution solutions and unlock the full potential of the Vietnam market. “With Seino’s leading expertise in LTL transport and ITL’s deep local market insights, we are building a powerful synergy ready to support Vietnamese businesses in enhancing competitiveness and adapting to global integration,” he affirmed.

The launch of Seino-ITL Logistics not only provides new options for domestic enterprises but also marks an important milestone in professionalizing Vietnam’s logistics industry, making LTL an essential part of the modern supply chain.
