Ho Chi Minh City build its first logistics hub in 2023

According to the director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City's logistics revenues presently make up around 8.8% of the GRDP, while the city's logistics costs are also included in the category of high expenditures.
When creating a project, logistics expenses make up roughly 20% of GRDP; however, after putting a preliminary assessment project in place, those expenses fall to 18.6%.
The city has improved training for human resources in logistics, encouraged enterprises to go digital, built a center for logistics, established the Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Association, and hosts an annual logistics forum.
Efforts are being made to encourage investment into the logistics hub being built in Ho Chi Minh City's High-Tech Park. This project is currently at phase 8 out of 12. The city's first official logistics center will be constructed in 2023, according to the proposal.
