Therefore, the municipal Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) has urged the AHTP management board to review the current land use and project implementation progress of Truong Xuan Biological JSC, Viet Quoc Thinh Production and Trading JSC, Thien Phong JSC, and Fresh Green Earth JSC.
The board was asked to review legal procedures for land and project revocation and tell the businesses to return the allocated land sites.
The AHTP is the first agricultural high-tech park in Vietnam, covering more than 88 hectares in the outlying district of Cu Chi, more than 40 kilometers from downtown.
It officially went into operation in April 2010 with a total investment of VND152 billion ((equal to $6.46 million based on current forex rates) sourced from the state budget.
The park has attracted projects that include producing seeds, clean vegetables, mushrooms, medicinal plants, ornamental fingerlings, and biological products.
