The southern hub of Vietnam is expecting a lot of tourists from South Korea, Japan, India, and China because the country's government and economy are stable and the tourism industry and related industries are doing well.
As of October, the city had welcomed more than 4 million foreign visitors, accounting for 82% of the plan for this year. Since it is getting close to the busiest time of the year for international tourists, it hopes to have 5 million of them visit in 2023.
Starting early next month, HCM will hold its third Tourism Week, which will include a lot of new products, such as the Nha Be night tour, healthcare tourism, and wellness tourism.
In addition, easier visa rules and longer stays for foreigners are expected to bring more tourists from other countries to the city during the busy season.
