Exports of agricultural goods bring $20.26 billion in five months

The aforementioned sum includes $20.26 billion in export income, down 11.1% year over year, and imports in excess of $13.15 billion, down 21.1%.
Agriculture, forestry, and fishing have collectively contributed to a $7.11 billion trade surplus for the country so far this year.
Shipments of major agricultural goods increased by 9.9 percent, reaching over $10.3 billion during the period under review.
The examined period also saw a 25.9 percent drop in exports of aquatic products, which totaled $3.47 billion, and a 26.8 percent drop in exports of forest products, which totaled roughly $5.52 billion. The value of animal products, meanwhile, increased by 34.5 percent to $190 million.
Asia took in $9.73 billion (up 2.3 percent), the United States $4.42 billion (down 34.6 percent), Europe $2.42 billion (down 13.2 percent), Africa $327 million (down 5.6 percent), and Oceania $280 million (down 28 percent) in farm product exports.
Twenty percent (20.4%) of the overall export value went to China, nearly twenty percent (19.8%) to the United States, and 7.8% to Japan, respectively.
