The activities will operate from September 7, according to a decision signed by Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem.
The move came after the city recorded no new infections in several days and the pandemic situation in Da Nang has been controlled well.
However, the parlors were asked not to neglect application of preventive measures including cleaning up surface and providing hand sanitizers to customers.
Previously, from July 31st, all bars and discotheques in Ho Chi Minh City had been suspended following order from the City People's Committee when the pandemic broke out in Da Nang from July 25.
Ho Chi Minh City has passed 38 days without new Covid-19 infections in the community. Currently, the city has recorded 77 cases.
