TIẾNG VIỆT Coronavirus infections in Vietnam hit 75, with 7 newly confirmed cases

Among the new patients, four people live in Hanoi, one person in Hai Duong, one person in Phu Tho, and another in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 69th patient, who is a German national, aged 30, and temporarily lives in Hanoi’s Hai Ba Trung district, arrived Noi Bai Airport on March 13 on SU290 flight. He had fever two days after his arrival and later was brought to Dong Anh Central Tropical Diseases Hospital.
The 70th and 71st patients, aged 19, who also live in Hanoi, are students returning Vietnam from the UK on March 16 on the TK164 flight. The patients have been put under treatment and quarantine at Dong Anh Central Tropical Diseases Hospital. Their health condition is stable health, ministry said.
Another patient, the 72nd, is 25-year French national. She arrived at Noi Bai Airport from France on March 9. The woman who is girlfriend of patient No. 60 had visited some places in Hanoi and Ninh Binh before she was tested with the virus on March 15.
An 11-year old boy, who lives in Hai Duong province’s Thanh Mien District, became the 73rd patient in Vietnam. He arrived Vietnam on flight No. VN54 March 9. He was taken to Hai Duong disease control center on March 13.
A 23-year old native of Phu Tho’s Lam Thao district became the 74th patient. This person was on flight VN18 to Vietnam on March 16. Upon arrival, the patient was taken to a concentrated quarantine area of Bac Ninh province and had test with positive result.
A 40-year old resident of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2, the 75th patient, traveled to London on March 4 to visit relatives. She returned home on March 15 on Vietnam Airlines airline’s flight VN50.
Upon arrival, the patient who did not have any symptoms, was sent to the centralized quarantine area in Cu Chi District. She was tested with the virus on March 18.
Vietnam has reported 75 cases of which 16 patients fully recovered and exited hospitals. While 59 cases are being put under treatments.
