33 patients in Vietnam have tested negative for the coronavirus

As of Wednesday afternoon, 33 out of 117 coronavirus under treatments at 16 health care facilities have tested negative with the virus, Ministry of Health said.

Of patients, 26 tested with negative results in the first tests while other 7 patients tested negative 2 times.

As of March 25, Vietnam has reported 134 cases of coronavirus, of which 17 cases have recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

Currently, 21 out of 63 provinces and cities in the country have recorded patients. Hanoi recorded 44 cases, Ho Chi Minh City with 34 cases, Vinh Phuc with 11 cases.

Among the 117 patients (85 Vietnamese and 32 foreigners), 3 patients are in critical health condition and they are put under active treatment at the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases.

Local health authorities have put 46,933 people who had close contacts and came from epidemic areas under quarantine.
