Vietnam's import-export turnover is expected to reach $500 billion by early December this year, according to an article posted on a website run by General Department of Customs.
The country has nearly 100,000 enterprises involved in imports and exports activities, said Nguyen Van Can, head of the department.
As of September, total import-export turnover for the whole country reached more than $382 billion. If the situation continued, the country's import and export turnover would reach $510 billion by the end of the year.
It is expected that 2019’s trade revenue to reach $520 billion if the final quarter’s turnover remains the same with achievement in the previous quarter.
