ThaiBev indirectly acquires Lam Dong Beer, holding 52.91% stake

Saigon – Lam Dong Beer, associated company of Sabeco and indirect subsidiary of ThaiBev has completed doubling its chartered capital to $8.6 million thanks to the additional capital source from Sabeco.
Prior to the chartered capital increase, Sabeco had held approximately 20% stake of Lam Dong Beer. The rest 80% was held by unrelated third-party shareholders.
Sabeco has spent $3.69 million for additional 8.58 million new shares of the company. Unrelated shareholders contributed made an additional contribution of $610,781 for additional 1.4 million new shares.
After the capital contribution, Lam Dong Beer becomes a direct subsidiary of Sabeco and indirect subsidiary of ThaiBev.
Sabeco funded the chartered capital increase in Lam Dong Beer from cash flow from operations.
Lam Dong Beer will use the funds for capacity expansion and its operation the additional capital contribution is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share and net tangible assets of ThaiBev for this financial year, it said in statement.
