Nam Long’s 2021 after-tax profit increases 74% to about $65 mln

Nam Long Investment JSC (HoSE: NLG) reported 2021 after-tax profit at VND1,478 billion ($65 million), up 74 percent from a year earlier, according to the company’s consolidated financial statement.

In 2021, Nam Long recorded net revenue of VND5,205.5 billion, up 135% from 2020 thanks to the contribution from Akari City Nam Long project.

The above revenue does not include the profit from selling 50% of shares in the Nam Long Dai Phuoc urban area project (Paragon Dai Phuoc).

In the final quarter of 2021, Nam Long's net revenue jumped 381 percent to VND4,418 billion ($194 million). Gross profit increased 517 percent to VND1,545.5 billion ($68 million). 

As of December 31, 2021, total assets of the company reached more than VND 23,717 billion ($1 billion), an increase of 74% compared to the beginning of the year. In which, cash and cash equivalents increased by 190% to VND3,111.6 billion; inventories increased 2.55 times to VND15,490 billion. On the stock market, NLG stock was traded at VND47,700/share.
