KMS MoveIT 2025 Raises nearly VND 60 Million to Empower Underprivileged IT Students

KMS Technology, a global leader in digital engineering and technology solutions with more than 1.300 employees across the United States, Mexico, and Vietnam, has successfully wrapped up the fourth season of its annual charity run campaign, MoveIT 2025, raising 58.538.700 VND in scholarships for underprivileged IT students from the nonprofit organization Saigon Children's Charity.

Launched in 2021, MoveIT has become a cornerstone of KMS’s sustainability program. True to its theme "IT Move IT", the campaign goes beyond a wellness activity, it inspires the IT community to stay active, foster connections, and collectively nurture the next generation of tech professionals. Over the past four seasons, MoveIT has raised a total of VND 160 million, benefitting IT students in need through various nonprofit partners nationwide.

This year marked a record-breaking season in both scale and impact, with 927 runners, including individuals and 150 teams from tech companies, universities, and organizations across Vietnam. Over 15 days, participants collectively logged 28,908 kilometers, equivalent to VND 58.538.700 in donations based on KMS’s pledge of VND 2.025 per kilometer. 

Notably, leading tech companies such as Katalon, mgm technology partners, Axon Active, Saigon Technology, Testing VN, Thoughtworks, Open Web Technology, Kozocom… joined hands to drive the campaign’s success, reflecting a shared commitment to community giving back.

Beyond the run, MoveIT 2025 featured four engaging challenges designed to unite and inspire participants:

• PROUD – Check-in at a culturally significant location
   
• ICONIC – Create a personal “signature” route
   
• COLOR – Share photos in team or school uniforms
   
• SECRETBOX – Collect kilometers to unlock mystery gifts

Lien Vo, from Axon Active in Da Nang, shared "This was my first time joining a running event, and I wasn’t sure I could finish. But I pushed past my limits and completed over 60km. It was an amazing and meaningful experience, especially knowing that each step made a difference for students in need."

Bui Thi Thuy Trang, a student from Passerelles numériques Vietnam, added "MoveIT 2025 was an unforgettable experience. It wasn’t just a race, it was a chance to spread positivity, connect with fellow students, and inspire one another to push beyond our limits and turn effort into meaningful impact."

The donation handover ceremony was held on June 19, 2025, at the KMS Technology office in Ho Chi Minh City. The full amount raised was officially transferred to Saigon Children’s Charity to help disadvantaged IT students pursue their future dreams.
