Hoa Phat provides over 4.5 million tons of steel to the market after 7 months

Construction steel exports from the Hoa Phat Group reached 147,000 tons, an increase of 81% over the same time in 2021. Last month, the Group's hot rolled coil (HRC) output was 150,000 tonnes, down 5% from July 2021.

Steel pipe alone reached 60,000 tons, an increase of 38% over the same time, while the downstream products of HRC such as galvanized sheet and steel pipe reached 78,000 tons.

Hoa Phat Group produced 4.9 million tons of crude steel throughout the course of the last seven months, which is over 4.5 million tons of steel of various types were sold in building steel, billet, and HRC, an increase of 5% over the same time in 2021.

Construction steel output reached 2.7 million tons, up 25%, and HRC contributed roughly 1.6 million tons. Hoa Phat also provided 198,000 tons of galvanized steel and 437,000 tons of steel pipes.

The Group now has an annual capacity of 8.5 million tons for crude steel. With 36.2 percent and 28.8 percent of the market share, respectively, Hoa Phat's construction steel and steel pipe are the most popular in Vietnam. The Group exports steel products to more than 20 nations to serve the global market.
