Four Samsung Vietnam factories earn $56.6 billion in 9 months

After the first nine months of 2022, four Samsung Electronics factories in Vietnam generated $56.6 billion in revenue.

Samsung Electronics Vietnam (Samsung Bac Ninh), Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (Samsung Thai Nguyen), Samsung Display Vietnam, and Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex are the four facilities operated by the Samsung Electronics Group in Vietnam.

According to Samsung's financial report, in the last 3rd quarter of 2022, these 4 factories' revenue totaled $18.7 billion, up 4.5% from the second quarter but down 6.5% from the same time the previous year. The total income generated by the four Samsung facilities in the first nine months of the year was around $56.6 billion.

In terms of profit, four manufacturers made $1.25 billion in the third quarter of 2022. These four factories produced over $4 billion in profit over the course of nine months, an increase of more than 10% from the same time the previous year. In Samsung Thai Nguyen, which generates $6.5 billion in sales, continues to be the major source of income. However, this is the factory's lowest income in more than a year at Samsung Thai Nguyen.

With revenues of USD 5.8 billion and USD 5.3 billion, respectively, Samsung Display Vietnam's revenue increased substantially and surpassed Samsung Bac Ninh's. The income for Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex fell to just $1 billion USD.
