KME expects to connect more than 3,000 global industry professionals with 300 local sellers.

Korea MICE Expo, South Korea's largest trade show for meeting professionals and incentive planners will kick off on 24 November over four days via a hybrid format.

Themed ‘Driving Innovation through Challenges’, the focus is on innovative digital solutions to move the MICE industry forward.

Shifting to the virtual stage is the opening ceremony at Songdo ConvensiA, Incheon, which will be streamed live for online attendees, followed by 1-to-1 video business consultation with global buyers and access to exclusive content.

Regional CVBs will also be present to share various new attractions and help plan future meetings to Korea's various cities.

Meanwhile, local participants can physically attend the event to meet exhibitors, watch live demonstrations at the Meeting Technology Showcase, and discover MICE-related start-ups at the Smart Tech Zone.

A highlight for event planners and techies: A keynote session by Karen Chupka, executive vice president of Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the most influential tech event in the world, on how the transition of CES to a virtual exhibition and conference will provide value as a new experience.

KME expects to connect more than 3,000 industry professionals with 300 exhibiting local service providers, including convention bureaus, unique venues, travel agencies, PCOs and more.
